We all have busy lives, just imagine taking some time out of your daily routine & instead spending time relaxing time in the Hampshire Countryside. The Crest is a peaceful place to come back to after a busy day exploring, or to spend your day watching the sun come up over the rolling hills & watching the stars come out in the evening.
Family Time
Boasting 3 cosy living areas, a family dining room opening up to the garden, den with pool table, table football & gym; board games & games consoles means we are all set up to give you & your family a great holiday.
Be sure to carve a day out for yourselves doing nothing more than barbequing & chatting on the patio, whilst watching the kids hurtle around the garden.
Exploring
The location of the house is a true strength, you will only need to look at the leaflets folks have gathered & left in our visitors book to see that. We are extremely close to the major cities of Winchester, Portsmouth, Chichester, Southampton & a train trip from a day out in London.
Being close to the coast, the beaches of Hill Head & Lee-on-Solent are close by, along with the idyllic harbours of Emsworth & Bosham. Of course, exploring doesn’t always require a car, there are plenty of cycle & footpaths accessible from the house, just let your feet dictate your day.
We Welcome Pets
We know how much fun it can be to bring your dog on holiday & we will not be charging you for that, instead you’ll find a little treat waiting for him/her on your arrival! There are plenty of walks – short, medium & epic all around The South Downs, up a hill, following a stream, around some historic churches, it’s all here.
Celebrating
We often have celebrations at The Crest; Wedding parties getting ready for their big day, Anniversaries & special Birthdays have all taken place in the house & garden. We love to be as small or as large a part of it as you wish.
We can help organise a cake for your stay, we work with The Bakehouse By Emma and will pick up the cake for you.
We would love to help you organise a catered meal at The Crest, we have worked with Gill Holland, a former Masterchef contestant and local to us, to do just this and have received fantastic feedback.
