Over the last 13 years we have had many holidays with friends, sharing various houses all across the south of England. The Crest is without doubt one of the best places we have ever stayed. The house is really beautiful and, with the annex and the two lounges in the main house, it provided ample room for 9 of us to not tread on each other’s toes. When we arrived the house was spotlessly clean and was equipped with everything we needed for 2 weeks of relaxing. The garden was lovely and the house remained pleasantly cool in the sweltering heat of August 2022. The huge TV in the main lounge was also really appreciated!
We felt properly looked after and Jo was always on hand to answer my awkward questions about recycling. We have a policy of not staying in the same house twice, but I think we will make an exception for the Crest.

Ps – we had an Indian takeaway from the White Horse, which was possibly one if the best curries I’ve ever had.
