Wonderful Weekend at The Crest

Amanda (Sept 2017) “Just had a wonderful weekend The Crest! There were 8 of us including 2 children and it was just perfect, spacious enough so we weren’t on top of each other but still lovely and cosy. Would definitely recommend and really hope to return one day”

We (Jo, Andrew, Alfie) moved into The Crest in 2010 shortly after Alfie turned 1, moving locally from Wickham Village outgrowing our cottage, mainly from the baby bits & bobs that seemed to be taking over the place! We fell in love with The Crest as soon as we walked in, actually as soon as we pulled into the lane! It has such a warm family feel to it, that I know you'll feel too. In 2012, a few months after our daughter Violet was born, we relocated to the US for my husbands work. That was quite an upheaval as I'm sure you can imagine, lots of emotions and 'goodbyes for now' but a great adventure. We started letting the house out as a holiday let, mainly so we could come back each year. We hope you love it as much as we do! We have now returned from California and live in a nearby village as we love the area so much. I promise I will get back to you if you drop me a note! Jo, Andrew, Alfie & Violet

Absolutely perfect!"We had the best long weekend, house was immaculate and included everything we required. Kids loved the toys in the bedroom, games consoles and garden games. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Dog loved the garden and was very secure so didn't have to worry about the dog escaping. I love my job 😊"We had a great stay at Jo's house. The weather conditions allowed us to test both the indoors space and the garden. The house is very cozy and has all the amenities needed to enjoy time spent indoors; and we also greatly enjoyed the barbecue and garden on the following day when it was sunny. The location and surroundings are wonderful, and the house serves as a great base to explore this beautiful region.
