The Crest will give you the space to spread out or find a nook in the garden to simply relax and unwind in, some guests throw their plans out the window & spend their entire stay in the house & garden!

Relaxing with Friends & Family
The Crest is perfectly set up for a group of friends or family to get together be it for two weeks or a lovely long weekend. We have plenty of inside and outside space so you’re not ‘on top’ of each other. Whether it’s a long summer night spent around the BBQ in the garden, or a cosy mid winter evening relaxing in front of the log burner we’ve got it covered.
A Relaxing Walk or Two
After you’ve cooked a Full English why not go for a good walk? There are many glorious trails within the Meon Valley, here are a few accessible from The Crest;
We have the forest of Bere right on our doorstep along the A32 towards Wickham Forest of Bere Info
Hundred Acres woods is in another section of The forest of Bere and is found along the Southwick road just outside of Wickham (about 20 minutes drive from The Crest). Hundred Acres has 2 GREAT play areas for a wide range of ages and some really decent walking tracks and to top it off, it’s dog friendly.
Winchester hill is a lovely scenic and hearty walk and is accessible from the A32 just past Exton Link to Old Winchester Hill Walk
If you are a cycling enthusiast you will not be disappointed by the number which sprout off of the A32
